Around 1985 these piglets were imported into Europe, Canada and the United States from Vietnam with great commercial success. They are small, lovable and can reach the age of 30 years.
A female after 6 months of life can become pregnant and give birth to around 12 cubs. They have an excellent immune system and easily adapt to any climate. Pragnancy lasts about 4 months.
